The Crane Mosque in Yangzhou, China

This is one of the four oldest mosques in China, "xian-he si" (the crane temple). The mosque is said to be built in 1275 by an eminent person pu-ha-ding (Burhan al-Din), who had visited Yangzhou and stayed there in the last years of the southern song and the early Yuan period.

In the middle ages, Yangzhou was a walled city surrounded by multiple canals and water gates.
Some of these old facilities are recently excavated. I found some pieces of ceramics. Maybe these are the part of large amount of ceramics for sale transported by canals.

Finally, my dream came true! I had Yanzhou chaofan (Fried Rice of Yangzhou) in Yangzhou. Yangzhou chaofan is very famous classical Chinese fried rice and we can find it almost everywhere in china. I do not know whether the name is truly represent the original place of the dish.
